Job Title: Facilities Specialist

Lifeline Connections is a community-based behavioral health organization that provides confidential and compassionate care to individuals with substance use and/or mental health conditions.

As a Facilities Specialist, you will assist the Facilities and Operations Departments with daily tasks and complete assignments in various duties. This role provides support for operations departments, including Facilities, Kitchen, and Marketing, as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit supply orders and check orders upon arrival
  • Reconcile purchase order and invoice review process
  • Place orders and handle routine purchase orders
  • Work with local vendors for acquiring bids
  • Assist in analyzing markets to determine vendor sources and product availability
  • Respond to facilities-related helpdesk requests
  • Maintain supplies of stationery, copy paper, forms, and other inventory
  • Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail
  • Assist with pick-ups and deliveries
  • General housekeeping
  • Assist the Operations Specialist in communicating with and supervising contractors and vendors
  • Assist with agency/department requests and/or projects

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to do physical work
  • A year or more of Facilities experience
  • Can demonstrate a general working knowledge of commercial and residential construction, electrical, plumbing, and inventory control
  • Experience in a healthcare facility preferred
  • Ability to maintain composure when interacting with uncooperative or aggressive people
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
  • Must possess a valid, unencumbered driver's license with a clean driving record and current vehicle insurance
  • Excellent attendance and a self-starter
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and written
  • Works well with others

Working Environment:

Working hours are spent equally inside and outside due to varying tasks.

The Benefits:

Lifeline Connections strives to be your employer of choice by offering our regular/full-time employees a generous benefits package. Our plans cover 85% of medical, dental, and vision costs at the employee level and 75% for all dependent plans. The majority of out-of-pocket costs (i.e. co-pays, prescriptions, and deductibles) under our medical plans are also covered. We also offer other benefits, such as employer-paid Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, and supplemental coverage.

Our full-time employees and some part-time employees also qualify for our 401(K) plan that matches dollar for dollar up to 5%. On top of all that, our full-time employees receive approximately 4 weeks of paid time off during their first year of employment (accrual rates increase with years of service), as well as 1 personal holiday and 12 paid holidays per year.

There are many other supplemental benefits we are glad to offer such as tuition reimbursement and discounted cellular service amongst others.
