Role Overview:

We're seeking a detail-oriented Investment Operations Associate to join our growing team. This role is crucial in supporting our advisors and ensuring smooth operations for our clients' accounts. At Point Wealth Management, we believe in nurturing talent and providing opportunities for growth. As an Investment Operations Associate, you'll have the chance to expand your skills, obtain additional certifications, and advance your career within our supportive team environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process new accounts and client requests, ensuring all documentation is complete and approved.
  • Facilitate various money movements including ACATs, Wires, ACHs, Journals, and Check Requests.
  • Review daily activity and reconcile client accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Execute trades and rebalance portfolios via Envestnet and NetX360 platforms.
  • Assist in client meetings as needed, providing support and expertise.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding accounts, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage the client experience, providing proactive communication throughout the onboarding process.
  • Participate in special projects related to investment research and tax mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the team's thought leadership through research and content creation.
  • Participate in client education initiatives and seminars.
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-functional efficiencies.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
  • 1+ years of investment operations and analysis experience
  • FINRA Series 7 and 63 or 66 (preferred, not required)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on client service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

  • NY Life and Health Insurance License (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
