KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice.

Responsibilities:

Help clients analyze the tax implications of working internationally and filing income tax returns in multiple jurisdictionsAssist clients in operating their payrolls in the United States and around the world, including by preparing gross-up calculations, payroll withholding calculations, collecting compensation information, and calculating international assignment allowancesProcess payroll for outbound assignees, those working in the United States and those working around the world, and process split payroll for assignees paid partially from the home country payroll and partially from the host country payrollProvide global coordination with country specific third party payroll providers, including initial set up and ongoing managementAssist clients with implementing leading processes and technologies related to tax compliance and strategyProvide KPMG resources to help clients understand and strategically respond to the Internal Revenue Service and other taxing authorities

Qualifications:

A minimum of three years of public accounting and/or tax experienceBachelor's degree, , in taxation, and/or Masters in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/universityAbility to speak and write fluent Japanese and English preferredKnowledge of a broad range of tax and administrative issues impacting international assigneesExcellent organizational skillsExperience mentoring team members
