EōS Fitness is looking for a Compliance Coordinator to assist with maintaining Company Policies, conducting internal audits, and supporting compliance documentations. The Coordinator will deep dive into various compliance areas and provide regular reports to field leadership. The coordinator will captain the maintenance of records for training and certificates including but not limited to CPR/AED, certified Personal Training, and group fitness certifications. Department: Human Resources


Core Purpose: Support total company compliance with local, federal and industry specific laws and regulations.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and update processes and procedures to support compliance.
  • Organize and perform internal audits to assess compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues and discrepancies in partnership of local leadership.
  • Daily and weekly report summaries on CA wage and hours including but not limited meal breaks, and overtime worked.
  • Ensure CPR/AED compliance across all departments with an emphasis on Personal Training.
  • Support CA Personal Training schedules and availability to ensure it meets local laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all documentation is readily accessible and properly archived.


Experience and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years in an administrative support role, compliance, and wage and hour is a plus
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex regulations and policies.
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing regulations and organizational needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
  • Great relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and in all functions.
  • Previous experience delivering excellent customer service.
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Detail orientated; systematic and thorough approach to problem solving; and good time management, organizational, and recordkeeping skills.

Requirements:

  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must be able sit for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to access and operate Company computer system including prepare documents, enter data into computer system, read reports from a computer database or email system.
  • Must be able to work a hybrid schedule out of our San Marcos Office located at 1 Civic Center Drive, Suite 300, San Marcos, CA 92069.
