What we are looking for:
As an Ecommerce Account Manager at ienjoy home, you will be responsible for managing and growing our ecommerce sales channels through strong relationships with buyers at leading retail partners such as Macy's, JCPenney, Nordstrom Rack, Overstock, Home Depot, Bloomingdale's, and others. This role requires a dynamic and proactive individual who can drive sales, optimize listings, and make strategic decisions based on sales data.
Responsibilities
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers at partner companies. Effectively communicate product offerings, promotions, and negotiate terms to ensure optimal product placement and visibility.
- Account Management: Manage accounts with key retail partners, ensuring products are accurately listed on their ecommerce platforms and updated regularly. Address any issues promptly to maintain positive relationships.
- Sales Optimization: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Use insights to drive strategic decisions that enhance sales performance.
- Product Listings: Ensure all product listings on partner ecommerce sites are optimized, accurate, and compelling. Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary content and images.
- Promotions and Deals: Work with buyers to get ienjoy home products featured in deals, promotions, and emails to maximize visibility and sales.
- Reporting and Analysis: Regularly monitor and report on account performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve sales and relationships.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure alignment and support for ecommerce initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in ecommerce account management or a related role.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce principles and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze and interpret sales data.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with buyers and key stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
- Experience with home textiles or a related industry is a plus.
