Join our dynamic organization as we seek a talented Accounting Manager to enhance our finance division within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the accounting team, ensuring precise financial reporting, and adhering to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operations and organizational structure of the accounting department to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Generate financial statements in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Prepare and file all necessary statutory reports and documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to regulations and standards specific to the insurance sector.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure data integrity and safeguard assets.
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to foster professional growth and enhance performance.
  • Participate in high-level decision-making to align financial strategies with corporate objectives.
  • Evaluate departmental workflows to enhance efficiency while ensuring accuracy.
  • Address inquiries from management across the organization regarding financial outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; a Master’s degree or CPA designation is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in senior finance or accounting roles, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Familiarity with statutory reporting and compliance.
  • Understanding of regulations governing the insurance industry.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in financial software applications and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Capacity to manage high-pressure situations and make informed decisions.
