Position Summary
The Accounts Payable Verify Specialist reviews and validates all invoices processed through the verification system

The Accounts Payable Verify Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely review of the fields captured from the
scanned image prior to approving for the invoice to be transferred to the AP System to initialize the payment process.

Major Responsibilities:
Review accounts payable documents for accurate fields captured from the scanned image
Process updates to field information based on scanned image, as required
Optimize images to prepare fields on future images to be captured accurately
Process invoices in a timely manner and according to productivity standards
Review vendors for potential automated processing based on invoice accuracy
Return documents to facility along with explanation for return of documents that cannot be processed (illegible
document, vendor not set up, etc)
Respond to employee and customer inquiries in a professional, courteous, and timely manner
Maintain effective communication with customers, co-workers, and the management team
Demonstrate effective problem solving skills
Demonstrate comprehensive job knowledge
