Location: Minneapolis, MN

Schedule: M-F 8am-5pm

Pay: $95k – 125k DOE


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily lab operations and sample flow.
  • Manage staff recruitment, mentoring, evaluation, and termination.
  • Resolve operational issues and supervise data verification.
  • Train new staff and ensure role familiarity.
  • Investigate quality incidents with Quality Assurance.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Recommend and manage laboratory equipment.
  • Compile statistical data and manage inventory.
  • Liaise with external vendors and contribute to budget development.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain the quality management system.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant science or medical technology field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with infectious disease
  • Experience performing donor screenings on human cells, etc
  • Strong knowledge of lab techniques, equipment, and materials.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teaching skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate a team.
