Job Overview:
As a key member of our laboratory team, you will play an essential role in the patient care process by preparing and processing histological specimens. Your expertise will contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic results that impact patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
In this position, you will:
  • Embed and prepare slides for routine Hematoxylin and Eosin (H & E) and special stain procedures.
  • Perform and document scheduled preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues related to processing, embedding, cutting, and staining.
  • Work efficiently in a dynamic laboratory environment, adhering to safety protocols and quality control measures.

Position Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A minimum of graduation from a Histotechnology program accredited by CAHEA/NAACLS and hold HT (ASCP) certification.
  • At least one year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing.
  • Strong analytical, reading, and writing skills.
  • The ability to operate various laboratory equipment, including computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, and microscopes.

Preferred Qualifications:
We value additional experience, such as:
  • Two or more years of laboratory training or experience in a high-volume laboratory setting, particularly with special stains and immunohistochemistry.
