Position Overview:
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist I, you will be an integral part of our laboratory team, performing essential laboratory tests and analyses under the guidance of experienced laboratory staff.

Location:
Minneapolis, MN

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine laboratory tests in accordance with established protocols and under the supervision of senior laboratory personnel.
2. Acquire phlebotomy skills and perform blood draws as necessary.
3. Ensure compliance with laboratory policies and procedures regarding specimen handling, test analysis, and reporting.
4. Maintain quality control standards and document results accurately in the Laboratory Information System.
5. Participate in the maintenance of laboratory equipment and ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in a relevant field is required.
- Previous experience as a Technologist under applicable regulations is essential.
- Preferred: At least one year of clinical experience and prior phlebotomy experience.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds frequently.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of clinical testing principles and laboratory operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Laboratory Information Systems.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client interactions.
