Your expertise will support the mission of enhancing scientific understanding and improving treatment strategies for viral infections.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Laboratory Management (80%):
    - Ensure the laboratory is well-equipped by sourcing and maintaining essential supplies and equipment.
    - Manage inventory and procurement of chemicals and reagents necessary for research activities.
    - Conduct routine laboratory maintenance, including waste disposal and supply replenishment.
    - Organize and facilitate critical meetings to ensure effective lab operations.
    - Assist with administrative tasks to support laboratory functionality.
  • Research Contributions (20%):
    - Conduct molecular biology and protein biochemistry experiments to investigate viral interactions with host cells.
    - Collaborate in designing research initiatives; independently execute complex experiments while meticulously documenting protocols and results.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in biology or a related field, coupled with a minimum of one year of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling five years.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate critical thinking.
  • Exceptional organizational capabilities.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for learning and creativity in problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Master’s degree in biology or a related discipline.
  • Experience in molecular cloning, cell culture, and protein purification techniques.
