LOCATION: Midland, TX

CONTEXT: Our client, an energy solutions company, is seeking a seasoned and results-driven Permian Regional Sales Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oilfield services industry, proven experience in sales management, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Their services span across fracturing systems, well construction, tracer diagnostics, and enhanced oil recovery.

Position offers vehicle allowance or the option to utilize a company truck.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and develop existing and new well construction clients through appropriate proposals and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction
  • Increase new sales volume through direct sales efforts, such as collaborating with sales team, cold calling on key clients, preparing quotes and proposals and with follow-ups
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, training, and motivation.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, product development, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
  • Travel frequently to meet clients, attend industry conferences, and visit field locations.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Technical degree or Diploma; preferred
  • Proven track record of success in sales management, ideally in the oilfield industry
  • Comprehensive oilfield experience; preferred, or demonstrate a sound understanding of oilfield technical knowledge
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement sales strategies that drive results
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, willing to think on their own, with excellent attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365
