Accounts Receivable Specialist

In this critical role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collection of customer payments. You will work closely with various departments to maintain healthy client relationships and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and generate invoices in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintain detailed customer account records and ensure accurate billing information
  • Monitor incoming payments and post them to the appropriate accounts
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and statements
  • Proactively identify and follow up on past due accounts
  • Collaborate with the sales team and customer service department to address customer concerns and resolve billing issues
  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to track collection efforts
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

Qualifications:

  • Proficient bilingual communication skills, Spanish & English.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related field
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
