Our client is a Space & Defense Contractor with customers all over the US. This person directly supports engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electro mechanical systems. Applications may include electronic circuits, photonics and logic systems. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Assists in determining methods or actions to remedy malfunctions. Collects, maintains, organizes, compiles, and manipulates technical data. Prepares engineering documentation, reports, drawings (sketches/flow charts/diagrams/schematics, etc.)


Compensation: $19-35/hour Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • AA Degree in related discipline and three (3) year related experience; High School diploma and five (5) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
  • Must have ability to obtain up to SECRET level clearance.
  • Production cable building experience.
  • Experience wiring electronics. Experience crimping and soldering.
  • Background in reading schematics/drawings and troubleshooting from schematics/drawings.
