RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will review construction project parameters (e.g., integration, scope, time, cost, quality, communication, procurement, risk management) to recommend changes that will improve the overall project results.
  • You will write technical or business briefings and summaries on topics and initiatives for dissemination to management and other organizations.
  • You will monitor financial obligations (e.g., cost planning, program budgeting, financial related management) to ensure fund expenditures adhere to budgetary policies.
  • You will prepare cost estimates and design scopes to ensure that architectural-engineering objectives are met in the most efficient and economical manner.
  • You will develop project management plans addressing schedules, costs or other resources.
  • You will review design and construction projects to develop recommendations for more efficient or cost-effective means.
  • You will review design and construction projects from a technical and an economic standpoint.

We are looking for Engineers with the following experience:


1) Coordinating/providing technical and administrative guidance in preparing architectural/engineering cost estimates for drawings and specifications, as well as construction materials and associated costs, for new capital improvement projects and major renovations;


2) Monitoring the use of assigned project resources to determine if the project is tracking as planned or corrective action(s) should be taken;


3) Providing recommendations for resolving cost issues due to design errors, unforeseen conditions or changes;


4) Preparing and presenting briefs related to costs, design analysis, scopes of work, contract negotiations, etc.

REQUIREMENTS
