Resource Efficiency Manager

Overview of position:
Join FEDITC, a leader in delivering innovative energy solutions to federal agencies worldwide, as a Resource Energy Manager at Yuma Proving Grounds, AZ. In this high-impact role, you will spearhead innovative energy management initiatives critical to installation resiliency and sustainability. Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Resource Energy Manager (REM) at Yuma Proving Grounds.
- Provide ancillary energy expertise and support to Fort Carson, CO, Dugway Proving Grounds, UT, and the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
- Develop and implement energy conservation and resiliency measures and projects.
- Conduct energy audits and analysis to identify opportunities for energy savings.
- Collaborate with facility managers and engineering staff to promote energy efficiency.
- Provide training and awareness programs on energy management.
- Prepare detailed reports on energy usage and savings.
- Ensure compliance with federal energy regulations and standards.
- Maintain applicable certifications and security authorizations.
- Other support duties as needed/directed.
Experience/Skills:
- Strong background in energy management, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of energy conservation measures, energy audits, and energy management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in energy management software and tools.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy management, or a related field.
- Advanced degree preferred.
Certifications:
- Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred, or willingness to obtain CEM certification within one year of employment (company will cover certification costs).
Clearance:
- Must be a US Citizen with ability to pass a federal background investigation needed to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) issued common access card (CAC).
