Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Resource Energy Manager (REM) at Yuma Proving Grounds.
  • Provide ancillary energy expertise and support to Fort Carson, CO, Dugway Proving Grounds, UT, and the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)
  • Develop and implement energy conservation and resiliency measures and projects.
  • Conduct energy audits and analysis to identify opportunities for energy savings.
  • Collaborate with facility managers and engineering staff to promote energy efficiency.
  • Provide training and awareness programs on energy management.
  • Prepare detailed reports on energy usage and savings.
  • Ensure compliance with federal energy regulations and standards.
  • Maintain applicable certifications and security authorizations.
  • Other support duties as needed/directed.


Experience/Skills:

  • Strong background in energy management, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of energy conservation measures, energy audits, and energy management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in energy management software and tools.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy management, or a related field.
  • Advanced degree preferred.


Certifications:

  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) preferred, or willingness to obtain CEM certification within one year of employment (company will cover certification costs).


Clearance:

  • Must be a US Citizen with ability to pass a federal background investigation needed to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) issued common access card (CAC).
