Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical ownership of Jira and Confluence environments.
  • Offer expert consultancy on Jira and Confluence for various teams.
  • Review and provide feedback on Jira or Confluence related technical proposals.
  • Influence product decisions to align with strategic objectives for the platforms.
  • Contribute to the development of the product backlog and participate in planning sessions.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization and connect your team with key stakeholders.
  • Create a safe, high-trust environment where conflicts are addressed and resolved effectively.
  • Collaborate with other Technical Leads and teams.
  • Be hands-on and involved as necessary to facilitate successful delivery.

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as a Jira and Confluence admin within a large organization, managing Jira and Confluence Data Centre.
  • Extensive experience as a Linux System Administrator.
  • Proficient in the full Atlassian ecosystem, including related applications.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure requirements for Jira and Confluence Data Centre.
  • Atlassian Certified System, Jira, and Confluence Administrator (highly desirable).
  • Good knowledge of Jira and Confluence cloud (desirable).
  • Experience in writing and debugging Bash or Python scripts.
  • Experience as a technical lead within an agile product team (highly desirable).
  • Proven track record of improving governance processes for Jira and Confluence management.
  • Experience working with and providing technical direction to third-party managed service providers.
  • Experience with ticketing systems to manage workload; ServiceNow experience is desirable.
