Role Overview:

The Application System Analyst will provide application support and optimization, working closely with the Service Desk to respond to service requests. The Analyst will analyze business issues, workflows, and requirements, applying application knowledge to meet operational and organizational needs. This position requires sufficient healthcare knowledge and systems expertise to implement medium to high complexity applications with minimal guidance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, develop, test, document, educate, implement, support, and maintain or optimize assigned applications and business processes.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders, proposing practical solutions and ensuring interoperability of design and configuration.
  • Understand and document customer needs and business processes, providing clear status reporting and recommendations.
  • Perform process and requirement analysis, including process mapping, requirement elicitation, and specification gathering.
  • Follow up with end users to understand their issues and needs, and proactively troubleshoot and resolve minor incidents.
  • Adhere to organization standards for system configuration and change control, ensuring proper approval, testing, and validation.
  • Manage low to medium complexity projects/requests and complete assigned courses within educational tracking tools in a timely manner.


Requirements:

  • Bahelor's degree preferred with a focus in healthcare, business, or information systems.
  • Minimum of 6 months experience with Epic.
  • Epic and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience.
  • Epic Certification is required
  • Ability to present complex data in a meaningful manner, such as charts and graphs.
  • Ability to adjust to and implement change.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to establish working relationship that foster optimal quality teamwork and education.
