We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Epic Systems Analyst to join our team at Christus Health. As an Epic Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and optimizing our healthcare applications to meet the needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze business issues and requirements to design and implement effective solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new applications and workflows
- Provide application support and optimization to ensure high-quality performance
- Work closely with the Service Desk to respond to service requests and resolve issues
- Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of healthcare systems and applications
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our applications are optimized for performance and security
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of project objectives and deliverables
- Develop and maintain documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
- Participate in project planning and execution to ensure timely and successful delivery
- Collaborate with vendors to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and service level agreements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as healthcare, business, or information systems
- 1+ years of experience in a related field, such as healthcare, business, or information systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to adjust to and implement change
- Problem-solving skills
- Multitasking skills
- Work as a team member
- Associated certifications in area of focus, preferred
- Certified or proficient in assigned Epic module (must be obtained within 6 months of employment date)
- Certifications or Proficiencies must stay current by maintaining new version training
This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
