Job Summary:
The Senior Clinical Informatics Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting and enhancing clinical information systems to improve workflow methodology and tools within a large healthcare system. This role involves collaborating with both clinical and technical teams to ensure the efficient functioning of clinical applications across multiple regions. The ideal candidate must have in-depth healthcare knowledge and systems expertise to provide quality support for assigned clinical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Clinical Informatics colleagues to align workflow processes and clinical content across all ministries for improved efficiency and patient safety.
- Develop, test, and maintain clinical applications, solutions, and business processes to meet operational requirements.
- Provide ongoing support and training to end users on clinical information systems upgrades and changes.
- Work closely with ministry leadership and various departments to ensure effective communication and meet business requirements.
- Lead quality assurance and testing initiatives, as well as troubleshoot application issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
- Contribute to strategy discussions and propose technical solutions for design and configuration needs.
- Create and deliver exceptional solutions to address complex end user needs.
- Manage medium to large-scale projects independently and collaborate with team members as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in clinical/technical applications.
- 5-7 years of clinical information systems experience preferred.
- 2+ years of project management experience preferred.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Epic certification or proficiency in relevant applications required.
