What you’ll be doing…
As a Service Coordinator, you schedule and coordinate the activities of your field service team to maximize utilization, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. You are the main point of contact for clients of Burkhart’s repair and installation services. Your always-on-the-go service team requires someone who looks around corners to plan ahead to maximize service profitability, and who serves as a firm and steady anchor to ensure the team remains focused on what is important. Success in this role requires an energetic, organized, customer service-focused person who enjoys the challenges of scheduling and dispatching in a way that achieves the highest level of efficiency and profitability.
SUPPORT BURKHART’S FINANCIAL SUCCESS by optimizing service scheduling and dispatching to meet the highest level of service profitability, efficiency, and time management. \
SUPPORT THE REGION by performing administrative tasks for the Service Department including; tracking the full cycle of work orders and maintaining work order files; reviewing trip and time sheets before submission; administrating all phases of factory repairs of client equipment; order, receive and distribute parts; coordinating manufacturer warranty and factory repairs.
COMMUNICATE while maintaining a professional manner, identifying and implementing innovative ways to respond to time sensitive service repair requests.
TAKE OWNERSHIP OF ASSIGNED PROJECTS by being self-motivated and working independently with limited supervision or direction.
RESOLVE PROBLEMS by clarifying customer complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting the best solution to solve the problem; expediting adjustment; & following up to ensure resolution.
CONTRIBUTE TO BURKHART’S success by modeling the Burkhart culture to clients and team members, accepting new assignments, helping team members, learning new skills, and striving to improve team results.
What you’ll need…
Associate degree, vocational certification, or other educational program related to office management, logistics, business administration, or closely related field.
2 years of scheduling and dispatching experience, or 3 years of customer service/administrative experience.
The associate must maintain a valid driver’s license, maintain a good driving record (as defined by Burkhart’s liability insurance), and be insurable at all times. This position may require associates to drive Burkhart vehicles to deliver parts or equipment to client worksites.
Salary Info:
Salary Range is $57,000 to $62,000 annually.
Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.
