Job Title: Regional Safety Coordinator

Providence Health & Services is seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our safety and compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our patients, staff, and visitors.

About the Role

The Regional Safety Coordinator will serve as a regional resource for all ministries in Alaska, providing support and guidance on regulatory and compliance requirements for the Environment of Care and Safety programs. This role will also involve collaborating with various stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on safety and compliance matters to ministries in Alaska
  • Develop and implement safety and compliance programs to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address safety and compliance concerns
  • Develop and maintain safety and compliance policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., safety, health, environmental science)
  • Administrative, marketing, and/or public relations experience
  • Experience and/or education in public speaking, community group facilitation, and grant writing and reporting
