_We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of X-Ray / Radiologic Technologist to join our team .
Perform high-quality x-rays on all patient types and age groups, under the guidance of a physician and according to pre-established standards and protocols.
Prepare each patient for all x-ray exams by providing clear and concise instructions, position patients with care for each radiographic view, move the x-ray machine in appropriate position, and adjust technique based on the body part of interest and body habitus.
Protect patients and employees from unnecessary radiation exposure by adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) and radiation safety (e.g., lead shielding).
Maintain x-ray equipment according to manufacturer and company policies to ensure optimal operation, such as performing quality checks and keeping records in appropriate system(s) (e.g., logbooks).
Assist with medical assistant tasks such as managing patient flow, taking patient vitals, and conducting selected point of care diagnostic tests, and tasks relevant to leadership responsibilities (e.g., motivating center staff, monitoring quality of patient experiences, etc.)Work collaboratively with center staff and other team members from nearby location, including corporate office, if needed.
Obtain, verify, and document all relevant patient information in respective systems (e.g., RIS, PACS, & EMR).
