Position Type: Full-Time

Schedule & Location: This role requires flexibility in hours and travel to various facilities.

Work Hours: Variable shifts available, including 8 to 12-hour days, with evening, weekend, and overnight options. Shift differentials are included.

Position Overview:

Under the supervision of a technical lead, the ARRT certified and California-licensed technologist is responsible for conducting radiologic examinations in designated areas at a proficient and safe level, without the need for constant oversight. The technologist will execute imaging procedures for all patient demographics, including emergent, inpatient, and outpatient cases. Diagnostic tasks encompass a range of radiographic assessments utilizing both fixed and portable imaging devices across diverse environments such as Outpatient, Inpatient, Operating Room, Hybrid, Emergency Room, fluoroscopy, and Endoscopy.

The technologist will perform a variety of radiographic assessments and manage image processing across different archival systems. They are professionally accountable for delivering high-quality images to the PACS system. Participation in departmental performance improvement initiatives is expected. Exceptional customer service to patients is a priority. Accurate patient identification for procedures and corresponding images is essential. Adherence to Infection Control protocols, radiation safety guidelines, and proper body mechanics is mandatory. The technologist must maintain current continuing education credits and comply with all Medical Center and Department regulations. ARRT, CRT, and California fluoroscopy licensure are required.

Qualifications:
  1. 2 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  2. ARRT Licensure or an equivalent approved by ARRT is necessary.
  3. CRT Licensure is required.
  4. Completion of a formal radiology technology training program from an AMA accredited institution.
  5. Willingness to adapt to varying schedules, including shift rotations and coverage for weekends and holidays.
  6. Ability to assist across all Medical Center locations as needed.
  7. Capability to perform effectively under varying workloads and patient volumes.
  8. Familiarity with related Radiology systems is advantageous.
Compensation:

Salary Range: $133,000 to $165,000
