Full-Time Position
Schedule|Location: This role requires flexibility in hours and may involve travel to various locations.
Work hours and days are variable, including evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts. Shift differentials are included.
Overview:Under the supervision of a technical lead, the ARRT certified and California-licensed technologist is responsible for performing radiologic procedures at a competent and safe level without the need for constant oversight. The technologist will conduct imaging procedures for all emergent, inpatient, and outpatient populations across different age groups. Diagnostic tasks encompass a range of radiographic examinations utilizing both fixed and portable imaging devices in diverse environments such as Outpatient, Inpatient, Operating Room, Emergency Room, and Endoscopy.
The technologist will execute various radiographic examinations and manage image processing on multiple archival systems. They are accountable for ensuring high-quality images are submitted to the PACS system. Participation in departmental performance improvement initiatives is expected. Excellent customer service skills are essential for patient interactions. Proper patient identification for procedures and corresponding images is required. Adherence to Infection Control protocols, radiation safety policies, and proper body mechanics is mandatory. Continuous education credits must be maintained, and compliance with all Medical Center and Department regulations is necessary. ARRT, CRT, and California fluoroscopy licenses are required.
Requirements:- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
- ARRT Licensure or an equivalent approved by ARRT is necessary.
- CRT Licensure is required.
- Graduation from an accredited radiology technology training program.
- Willingness to adapt to varied scheduling, including rotating shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
- Flexibility to assist at any Medical Center location as needed.
- Ability to perform effectively under varying workloads and patient volumes.
- Familiarity with related Radiology systems is advantageous.
Base Salary - $133,000 to $165,000
