A Day in the Life

  • Coordinate and optimize logistics of medical equipment shipments across the nation to meet hospital partner and branch team’s needs
  • Communicate with vendors, branch personnel and carrier services to coordinate logistics and timelines and relay shipment schedules to meet urgent hospital needs
  • Analyze daily inventory reports and sales pipeline reports, proactively working to ensure that each branch is equipped to meet the local demands of our healthcare partners
  • Oversee the fulfillment process of equipment orders, from initial receipt to the final satisfaction confirmation with our valued customers
  • Address and resolve shipment and inventory issues
  • Assist in researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers
  • Work with other departments to integrate logistics with company procedures and operations and ensure compliance with transportation and warehousing regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and maintain shipment records in digital databases
  • Efficiently and accurately execute equipment orders, meeting both standard and rush delivery requirements
  • Maintain updated knowledge of equipment, services, policies, industry trends and best practices through regular professional development trainings
  • Deliver exceptional customer service promptly and accurately handling equipment requests and inquiries via phone, Teams, email and other communication channels.
  • Regularly review and report on equipment utilization rates and other pertinent data to inform efficient shipment of medical equipment from branch to branch
  • Periodic travel as needed
  • Additional duties as assigned

Education/Experience
