We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to join our team at United Rentals. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of our inventory levels to meet the needs of our customers and service department.
Key Responsibilities- Purchase and acquire parts from manufacturers and suppliers to maintain and replenish inventory levels.
- Process external and internal parts orders by completing invoices, updating inventory records, and verifying customer credit and shipping parts as needed.
- Advise management on parts activities, future trends, and matters affecting the efficiency of the department regarding customer relations.
- Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature, and price lists for all equipment sold by the company.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- 2+ years of retail experience.
- Heavy equipment knowledge is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to use technology tools to increase performance efficiency.
- Superior customer service, teamwork, and verbal/written communication skills.
