Key Responsibilities:
  • Rental Process Management:
    • Coordinate equipment reservations and rental agreements to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
    • Monitor equipment availability, inventory levels, and maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment is ready for use and in optimal condition.
    • Track equipment inventory and adjust levels as necessary in coordination with suppliers and the Category Manager.
    • Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliability and performance.
    • Analyze rental data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the optimization of the rental process.
  • Sourcing Buyer:
    • Support Category Management procurement strategies under the direction of the Category Manager.
    • Prepare and manage bid packages, conduct bid events, and engage in sourcing and contracting activities with integrity and transparency.
    • Define stakeholder requirements and ensure suppliers adhere to the agreed scope of work and deliverables.
    • Negotiate commercial terms and agreements to achieve favorable outcomes for the company.
    • Monitor spending activity and report critical metrics to assist in effective category management.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn the business environment and adapt to the culture of the organization.
  • Proven proficiency in sourcing, contracting, and supplier negotiation.
  • Successful experience in procurement, supply chain management, and rental equipment coordination.
  • Experience in the petrochemical or refining industry.
  • Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) required.
