ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITES

Leadership:

  • Live Post’s cultural behaviors as an executive role model who continually inspires, motivates, fosters genuine engagement, and collaboration by others.
  • Refine and validate the MBSB School’s mission through execution of distinct strategies that create Post pride by all members of the Post University community – faculty, staff, students, parents, alumni etc.
  • Designs and utilizes best practices methodologies/policies in developing academic associates to deliver consistently superior student success experiences.
  • Retention, Persistence, Graduation Rates: Applies data analysis, metrics, dashboards, and evaluation of relevant trends and competitor information to ensure Post’s competitive positioning.

Curriculum & Program Development:

  • Smartly evaluate existing programs for value add and effectively launch brand enhancing new programs.
  • Applies “Make It Personal” thinking across Academics in making the right call in addressing individual student concerns or success needs.

Compliance Advocate:

  • Ensures unwavering regulatory excellence, governance, ethics, and integrity in all Academic areas, all the time. Collaborates with other functional departments to maintain accurate and reliable Academic related communication resources (i.e. such as Post Intranet, student catalog, internal policy repository, marketing communications, etc.)Elevate Post’s Workforce Ready initiatives and Humanities General Education outcomes to achieve additional brand distinctions.

Student Success & Educational Effectiveness:

  • Execute student-centered and data-informed strategies that produce exceptional student experiences in all academic areas such as curriculum development, instructional modalities, course planning, etc.
  • Compile, synthesize, analyze, and timely communicate data that expertly informs various stakeholders of the School’s progress towards strategic plan goals.
  • Ensures the student life cycle experience and beyond exceeds KPI expectations.

Personnel & Resource Allocation:

  • Applies sophisticated business acumen expertise in financial areas including budgeting, cost containment, tuition cost analysis, academic systems’ assessment and upgrade recommendations, etc.
  • Attracts, develops, evaluates, and retains a high-performance team of passionate, fully committed, and talented professionals across all Academic roles.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree related to the disciplines in the Malcolm Baldridge School of Business
  • Minimum of eight years’ leadership experience in higher education or a related field (proprietary experience preferred)
  • Experience in adult education (theory, pedagogy, and andragogy) as it relates to online and blended learning modalities
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current research and state and/or national initiatives designed to enhance student access, persistence, and success
  • Proficiency in designing and teaching courses in the online modality; demonstrated success in academic higher education program and curriculum development; experience with faculty/staff professional development
  • Proven business acumen
  • Passion for developing others – students and associates
  • Polished and articulate communications skills as a Post representative
  • Highest level of integrity and self drive
  • Must be able to meet expectations of a hybrid, on-site leadership role.
