Overview of position:

FEDITC is seeking a Project Manager Coordinator to work in the Scott AFB, IL area. A United States Citizenship and an active Secret DoD Security Clearance is required to be considered for this position.


Responsibilities


Project Planning:

  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.


Project Execution:

  • Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are documented and followed.
  • Assist in resource allocation and scheduling to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.


Project Monitoring:

  • Monitor project progress and provide detailed updates to project managers.
  • Maintain and update project documentation, plans, and reports.
  • Identify potential project risks, issues, and assist in mitigation strategies.


Communication:

  • Facilitate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors.
  • Organize and participate in project meetings, preparing agendas and minutes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate distribution of information to all project stakeholders.


Administrative Support:

  • Provide administrative support to project managers, including scheduling meetings and maintaining project documentation.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other project-related documents as required.
  • Other support duties as needed/directed.


Qualifications


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
  • Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • ITIL Recommended


Skills:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Clearance:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
  • Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC’S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
