About the Role

The National Security Customer Group of SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to support an IT Service Management effort for a leading government agency. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing and implementing effective IT services that meet the needs of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a consistent approach to designing services that meet the needs of the organization
  • Deliver services that are effective and efficient IT and mission solutions through the coordination of all design activities
  • Design services that can be easily and efficiently developed and implemented
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure workflows are developed in the Service Request System
  • Document workflows with tasks prior to service implementation
  • Achieve an overall improvement in the quality of IT service within the imposed design constraints by reducing rework once the services have been transitioned into the live production environment
  • Facilitate the completion of a Service Design Package for all new and existing services
  • Assist the Government IT Service Portfolio Manager in documenting and maintaining templates in support of Service Design Coordination
  • Schedule and document all required meetings in support of Service Design Coordination

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT service management
  • DoD Secret clearance
  • ITIL 4 Foundations certification
  • Experience with formal system development methodologies including Agile
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Experience with business process modeling
  • Experience eliciting and documenting software requirements in the form of use cases and user stories
  • Experience working with BMC Remedy Ticketing System
  • Experience working with Microsoft SharePoint
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

What We Offer

SAIC offers a competitive salary range of $40,001 - $80,000, depending on experience. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from diverse candidates. We do not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters, but customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
