Accentuate Staffing is currently seeking a Communications Coordinator for one of our clients in Wilson, NC. The Communications Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, development, and dissemination of internal communications content including announcements and reminders, memos, and leadership communications, and acts as a conduit to the Global Corporate Affairs Team, highlighting the facilities’ achievements and important updates. This position will also support the operations’ sponsorships, contests, fundraisers, and marketing material.

Responsibilities:

  • Writes, designs, and edits communications content, including but not limited to, key announcements and reminders, internal social media posts, employee intranet updates, and marketing and branding materials.
  • Uncover new stories within the operations, and identify trends and ideas that help tell the company’s story in writing, verbally and visually.
  • Assists leadership in developing presentations, speeches, talking points, and other key messages.
  • Adheres to the brand guidelines and ensures all internal documents are aligned
  • Oversees or collaborates with other teams in the development and maintenance of North America’s SharePoint site.
  • Promotes and reports on milestones and activities such as company goals and projects; community service activities; and new hires, promotions, and retirements.
  • Promotes and serves as the organization’s representative for special events/functions hosted by local charities or civic organizations.
  • Assists with drafting and publishing job announcements and openings.
  • Oversees the development and implementation of employee relations activities, surveys, and engagement/retention efforts.
  • Serves as a trusted internal communications partner and strategic advisor for several teams across the organization.
  • Ensures communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization’s global communications strategy and overall strategic vision.
  • Ensures consistent framing of messages, publishes videos and high-quality photography.
  • Drives engagement and awareness across a variety of company initiatives.

Requirements:

  • BS in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Must have experience in writing companywide communications
  • Graphic design experience.
  • Creative and innovative, with a strong visual sense.
  • Experience with visual storytelling, video production, and content creation.
  • Translate complex topics into content that is easily comprehensible to non-specialists.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Proficient in industry-leading software, including Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Work with all levels of employees, including senior leaders.
  • Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in a complex and fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of agricultural issues is helpful
