Job Description

The Data Product Manager is a critical member of the Consumer Experience Transformation (CxT) Team. She/he/they is/are responsible for overseeing the development and management of our data products throughout their lifecycles. She/he/they will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that unlock business value.


The ideal candidate is outcome-oriented and passionate about data and technology. She/he/they will be an individual contributor AND a capability leader for the organization. This position reports to the Director of Known Consumer Marketing and takes project direction from the Manager of Known Consumer Marketing.


Key Responsibilities


Known Consumer Data Product Management (80%)

  • Define and articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on business goals/needs and key partner feedback.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering resources, tech leads and other teams (Legal, EDT) to prioritize features, plan releases, and drive product development efforts.
  • Gather and analyze data to make informed decisions, monitor performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Champion the voice of the customer and advocate for user-centric product design and development.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to communicate product updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
  • Lead agile product development processes, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
  • Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.


Ensure our data products remain privacy compliant (10%)

  • Understand how U.S. data privacy regulations impact our Known Consumer data products; identify where Privacy Subject Matter Experts need to get involved with development.
  • Ensure any new development or integrations have the appropriate Legal and Privacy contracts or functionality in place so that Clorox always remains compliant.


Be a Product Management evangelist (10%)

  • Educate key partners (internal and external) on what is Product management, what is this role, how best to partner, etc.
  • Identify new opportunities for Product Management to play a role, where and when it makes sense; articulate the Reason to Believe to senior leadership.


Skills and Ability

·     Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

·     Proven experience as a Product Manager or similar role.

·     Strong understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and tools.

·     Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

·     Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data to make data-driven decisions.

·     Experience working in agile development environments and managing cross-functional teams.

·     Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·     Passion for technology, innovation, and creating exceptional user experiences.

The expected hourly rate pay range for this position is $80-100 per hour.
