How you will make an impact:
SiriusXM is looking for a dynamic and experienced Principal Product Manager to play a critical role in evaluating, defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for Creator tools and our proprietary Podcast CMS, Simplecast. This role will support objectives to provide creators with the content management, promotion and monetization capabilities they need to thrive in the rapidly evolving podcast landscape while also empowering them to share their stories, connect with listeners and grow their audience. The Principal PM will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, engineering, design/research, go-to-market, and marketing, to deliver impactful solutions for creator growth, engagement and success. Key initiatives will include, but not limited to, evaluation and implementation of strategic partnership opportunities, podcast video enablement, audience growth and discoverability, AI exploration, and centralized data and analytics for valuable insights. This role will be a key contributor to the continued acceleration of our podcast business.
What you'll do:
Owns the Podcast Creator Experience product area, leverages product metrics and business objectives to craft and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy aligned with the company's overall mission and goals.
Maintain awareness and knowledge of the creator economy virtuous cycle, podcast industry and digital advertising market, staying abreast of trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and identify opportunities for innovation and champion the needs and perspectives of creators to help them achieve their goals.
Utilize thought leadership, business case analysis and strategic recommendations to Influence and drive decisions at Senior Leadership level.

Collaborates with business and technical stakeholders to evaluate future opportunities, owning POV, discovery documentation and market research assessments .
Writes and delivers requirement documents and artifacts required to enable the development of products, features, and infrastructure.
Makes decisions contributing to the execution of highly complex projects while overcoming challenges managing multiple stakeholders, high levels product/project ambiguity and resource constraints.
Partners with research teams and product analytics to develop product research studies, and gain customer insights to inform and make data-driven decisions that enhance the creator experience.
Mentors Associate/Product and Sr. Product Managers to further develop the team, drive innovation and execute initiatives across the portfolio.
What you'll need to do the job:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 12+ years in product management, preferably in the podcasting or digital content space.
Experience with Content Management Systems or applications
Demonstrated ability of product leadership in a cross functional environment, driving collaboration and accountability.
Passionate about users with deep empathy for creators and drive to improving their experience and success.
Established record of delivering on time, in scope. Proactively makes correct trade-offs between scope & timing.
Experience in workflow automation and development of innovative products for a diverse customer base.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in assessing data and identifying trends to glean predictive insights.
Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills to transform information into engaging presentations to confidently deliver to senior and executive leaders.
Strong influencing skills; you can build relationships with internal stakeholders and implementation partners to tell the user story in a compelling way and deliver the highest class in viability, usability and feasibility.
A team player with a strong work ethic, able to build and maintain business and technical relationships, balances autonomy and accountability to get things done.
Ability to communicate with C-level and senior management teams as needed

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $143,000 to $215,550 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
