Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Lead QA Engineer to oversee our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and mentor a team of QA engineers. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products, helping us deliver the best possible experience to our users.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment, promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Manage and prioritize the workload of the QA team, ensuring timely and effective testing of all projects.
  • Quality Assurance:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure thorough testing of all software products.
  • Perform functional, regression, performance, and automated testing to identify and document defects.
  • Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure that testing meets project goals.
  • Process Improvement:
  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Introduce and integrate new testing tools and technologies to streamline QA processes.
  • Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to provide clear and concise feedback on product quality.
  • Prepare and present QA metrics, reports, and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between the QA team and other departments to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a QA Engineer role with a strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or team management role.
  • Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, etc.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
