Job Overview:
Crescens is seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to contribute to our projects involving SACWIS and CCWIS. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in aligning IT and business objectives, ensuring adherence to established methodologies and supporting agency management directives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the QA Lead to validate ETL processes and data conversions, ensuring compliance with requirements while maintaining service quality attributes such as performance, scalability, and security.
  • Review system requirements and test scenarios to develop effective testing workflows, ensuring completeness and operational readiness.
  • Work closely with Development teams, Product Owners, and Operations to establish optimal testing strategies and practices for automated testing.
  • Engage with design and implementation teams to resolve QA-related issues in line with design principles and user requirements.
  • Participate in testing processes for the integration of new and legacy technologies.
  • Adhere to established testing standards and utilize them effectively.
  • Interface with stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and requirements.
  • Generate automated functional tests, regression tests, and load tests tailored to ETL and data conversion.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test scripts for the integration of data from legacy systems to new applications.
  • Design and implement ETL testing scripts that align with data ingestion and cleansing processes.
  • Validate data flows and ETL processes against business requirements.
  • Create complex SQL queries to test data migration criteria.
  • Demonstrate expertise in querying and testing various databases, including SQL Server, DB2, and Oracle.
  • Ensure thorough involvement in all project stages, from requirements gathering to performance optimization.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to deliver technical and business value.
  • Maintain a high level of organization and self-direction, performing effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Showcase strong problem-solving abilities and abstract thinking skills.
  • Bring over 5 years of experience with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Agile methodologies and software testing practices.
  • Possess knowledge of various testing tools and frameworks, including web application and performance testing.
  • Understand data modeling and database design principles.
  • Apply best practices in QA within an Agile environment, including test plan creation and issue tracking.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development and web services testing tools.
