Reports To: Sales Manager
Role Summary:
As a Business Development Executive you will be responsible for identifying qualifying and closing new business opportunities. You will also expand sales in existing accounts by introducing new products and services helping clients optimize their document management and IT services. You will maintain strong client relationships and continuously recommend improvements to services and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify qualify and close new business opportunities to develop a solid customer base.
- Introduce document management solutions and IT service capabilities to potential and existing clients.
- Expand sales within current accounts by offering new products and services and identifying new applications.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients by providing support information and guidance.
- Research and recommend new business opportunities identifying areas for profit and service improvement.
- Monitor competitive products and market reactions providing input to shape product service and policy changes.
- Train and motivate the dealer sales force to increase sales and performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to bring a book of business.
- Experience with heavy cold calling to generate new business.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Previous experience with telecom and phone systems is essential.
