Position Title: Accounting Specialist
Location: Saint Paul, MN
Anticipated Start Date: 07/27/2024

Expected Duration: 5+ Months (possibility for extension)
Job Type: Monday through Friday - (3 days per week on-site)
Pay Range: $16/hr - $16.95/hr
Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).
Requirements:

  • Reconciliation.
  • Invoicing/Invoice.
  • Accounting.
Job Description:
  • Processes transactions, reconciles and maintains various accounts and ledgers.
  • Transactions processed and maintained may include; accounts payable, journal vouchers, vendor invoices, expense reimbursements, ledgers, statements, billings, and/or other accounting documents. Ensures accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of transactions processed.
  • Researches discrepancies and makes appropriate corrections or adjustments.
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries.
  • Posts data and/or checks and verifies data. Runs and prepares routine financial reports and analyses.
Work through vendor billing spreadsheets to code charges to appropriate cost centers
* Confirm the accuracy of project numbers
* Reconcile PDFs of invoices with spreadsheets provided by the vendor
* Assist in completing asset lists based on invoices
