Complete an extensive Medical Health Questionnaire (MHQ) and exposure form via telephone interview with members within the identified case management supported program. Electronically submit interview information through an internal database system to generate a summary for the members monitoring exam.

Primary Responsibilities:

Complete extensive Medical Health Questionnaire (MHQ) and Exposure form via telephone interviewTriage incoming calls Acknowledges member's rights on confidentiality issues, maintains patient confidentiality at all times, and follows HIPAA guidelines and regulations Complete daily department tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Vocational or Technical Training/Education (Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, etc.) or Clinical Upskilling courseEquivalent combination of education, experience and/or applicable military experience will be considered2+ years' experience in a customer service environmentProven experience with medical terminology or completion of medical terminology courseProven solid organizational, multi-tasking and time management skillsProven excellent written and verbal communication, telephone etiquette and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications:

National Career Readiness Certificate Proven knowledge and understanding of CPT and ICD coding

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
