This position is part of the R&D department located in Fargo, ND and will be on-site. You will be a part of the Analytical Method Development unit and report to the Director responsible for mRNA Drug Substance and Drug Product Analytics.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Contribute to design of experiment and generation of data to be included in technical reports following all appropriate good documentation practices.
  • Develop solutions for simple and complex problems requiring a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Be an individual contributor with no supervisory responsibilities. Perform experiments, analyze data, and plan next steps.
  • Use existing procedures to solve standard problems; analyze information and standard practices to make judgments. Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet tight deadlines.
  • Engage in limited customer interactions.

Essential requirements of the job include:

  • BS degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 3+ years of experience.
  • MS degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related discipline with 1-3 years of experience.
  • Experience with molecular biology techniques such as RT-PCR Sanger sequencing, q/dPCR, CGE, HPLC (PA800+/BioPhase8800+), ELISA.
  • Experience working with mRNA and LNP therapeutics and ability to multi-task and acquire new skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidelines related analytical method development and validation.
