A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEMBER REPRESENTATIVE II

The Auto Club Group seeks Member Representative II professionals who can effectively promote ACG products and services, enhance customer satisfaction, and engage in office initiatives to boost revenue through member awareness. As a key representative, you will welcome customers and ensure their needs are met with professionalism.

  • Deliver exceptional support services to members regarding sales and service functions, including managing insurance policies, processing applications, renewals, and amendments, as well as selling travel, tours, and membership products.
  • Generate leads, inform members about travel and insurance promotions, and provide travel-related information.
  • Handle cashiering duties, including processing insurance payments, travel, and membership transactions, and maintaining cash drawer accuracy.
  • Address customer inquiries and refer to agents when necessary.
  • Offer administrative support to Travel and Insurance Agents during peak times.
  • Assist in training less experienced team members.
  • Conduct outbound promotional calls for insurance and travel offerings.
  • Collaborate within a team to enhance customer satisfaction and ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Manage and resolve member/customer complaints, seeking management assistance when needed.
  • Participate in office events aimed at generating revenue and increasing product awareness.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary range ($36,000 - $40,016.77) with opportunities for bonuses and sales incentives.
  • This is a W2 position with hourly pay.
  • Unlimited commission potential on AAA Membership, Travel, and Credit Card sales.

QUALIFICATIONS WE SEEK

Essential Requirements:

  • Active State Property & Casualty license (ACG will assist in obtaining this if not currently held).

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Experience in managing insurance policies and processing related transactions.
  • Ability to respond to billing and coverage inquiries.
  • Experience in promoting insurance and travel products.
  • Familiarity with outbound promotional calls.
  • Proficient in computer applications (e.g., Word, Excel) and web-based operations.

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Knowledge of insurance and travel terminology.
  • Understanding of general insurance and travel regulations.
  • Familiarity with underwriting procedures and sales compliance guidelines.
  • Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Mathematical proficiency for accurate monetary transactions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Commitment to exceeding member expectations in service quality.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced customer service setting.

Work Environment:

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Work primarily in an office setting.
