Position: Electronics Test Specialist II

Location: Fargo, ND - Full Time

Productive Resources LLC is looking for a qualified individual to join our engineering team. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing laboratory tests, executing basic corrective measures, and liaising with relevant personnel as necessary.

This full-time role offers an indefinite duration with ample opportunities for professional advancement and growth within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections and tests to identify the root causes of defective electronic assemblies, following provided instructions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records of all work performed.
  • Notify supervisors of any process or design issues and assist in implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform manual testing of electronic circuits and printed circuit boards (PCBs) in accordance with engineering guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members and other departments.
  • Update testing documentation as necessary for prototype products.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior technicians when needed.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors and management.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, military certification, or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to work 2nd shift.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with internal teams and vendors.
  • Proficient in using personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting methodologies to determine root causes.
  • Knowledge of testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering documents, including schematics and diagrams.
  • Capability to understand product/process component datasheets.
  • Skills in assembling and disassembling products.
  • Experience in maintaining laboratory equipment.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • At least one year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of relevant experience.
