Summary/objective:

Marketing expert with experience driving aggressive annual E-Commerce revenue growth of $10M+. This role involves extensive expertise in Shopify stores, marketing strategy and execution, resulting in overall merchandise sales growth.

Essential functions

  • Build, test and optimize the sales and marketing process for merchandise, leveraging competitor processes, testing across multiple marketing and distribution channels and utilizing trends that work
  • Build audiences through targeting and marketing and increase customer lifetime value
  • Achieve quotas for shopify stores and develop new strategies to high growth sales
  • Creative plan merchandise marketing strategy plans for existing products, new launches, and item phase-outs 6 months in advance
  • Evaluate and identify various aspects to utilize growth trends (price, categories, occasions, etc.)
  • Collaborate with heads of Merchandise and E-Commerce to direct merch marketing efforts across Angel teams: Ecommerce, Ad buying (social & search), organic social, email, Content Apps (TV, Mobile, Web), YouTube, influencers/affiliate program, blog, livestreams, & theatrical ticket flow
  • Own and improve procedures and tools such as sales landing pages, home pages, web pages that convert, retargeting ads, social media, & email sequences
  • Craft relevant and irresistible offers. Engage with and provide customers with increasing value at each stage in the funnel
  • Implement processes to achieve data driven inventory plans
  • Identify ways to blitz the market through innovative strategies and unique campaigns
  • Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings
  • Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required. Additional language proficiency is a plus
