Role Summary

The management of events is a crucial component of Signals' marketing strategy aimed at elevating our brand within the Demand Generation sector. We are seeking a skilled Event Marketing Coordinator who will be accountable for the planning and execution of our events while promoting the Signals platform. The coordinator will ensure that events are effectively organized and aligned with the organization's objectives. This encompasses speaker recruitment, onboarding, creating event pages, promotion, and the coordination of all event-related activities.

The Event Marketing Coordinator will take charge of event strategy and execution, crafting, delivering, and refining event programs that resonate with our integrated campaigns and foster new business opportunities. This position will ensure exceptional digital and in-person experiences for our users and prospective clients across all customer segments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop an event marketing strategy that includes goals, objectives, and target audiences for virtual events from inception to completion.
  • Identify opportunities, including sponsorships; define strategy and objectives; assemble project teams; manage vendors; source diverse speakers and audiences; create run-books; incorporate data-driven insights and measure outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Demand Generation, Design, and Product Marketing teams to produce high-quality events.
  • Work in partnership with Sales teams to expand the events program's scope, driving new leads, nurturing existing ones, and increasing our outreach.
  • Generate innovative event ideas, concepts, processes, and formats, ensuring consistency and creativity throughout all event interactions.
  • Refine and document the operations of our events program alongside the team, aiding in scaling the program.
  • Communicate with clients to address inquiries or concerns regarding event progress.
  • Research trends in event planning to develop fresh ideas for upcoming events.

Qualifications for Success

  • Reside within commuting distance to our office.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Quick learner with an aptitude for understanding new technologies and features.
  • Experience in digital event environments, with a comprehensive understanding of integrating event experiences into the buyer's journey to generate demand.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Sales teams to devise strategies and track metrics for events.
  • Strong familiarity with tech conferences and the sales landscape in the technology sector.
  • Solid understanding of lead management and sales funnel management.
  • Experience in developing, editing, and enhancing content for event speakers.
  • A passion for translating brand principles into tangible experiences.
