A global entertainment company that offers gourmet entertainment services to Airline, Event, Restaurant, and Lounge / Hotel business segments.

Job Description

Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.Ensure accurate and timely completion of financial reports in compliance with accounting standards.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions.Review and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to accounting policies.Organize and process credit card transactions, payment processing and collections.Collaborate and assist with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement.Stay current with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred Minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record in a senior or supervisory role.Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reportingIn-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with the capability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
