The Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Principal Engineer Robotics Software to direct our robotics team. This technical leadership role will focus on architecting and delivering cutting-edge robotic software solutions that overcome complex integration and operational challenges. You will spearhead the design and implementation of sophisticated robotic systems, ensuring they exceed our stringent quality and performance standards. Your expertise will drive the strategic use of technology to achieve groundbreaking solutions on a global scale.

Here's What Youll Do: Lead the design and architecture of advanced robotic software solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational standards. Oversee the development and integration of robotic control systems to enhance platform performance and reliability. Direct the creation of algorithms for robotic perception, motion planning, and control with the highest accuracy and efficiency. Establish and enforce rigorous software quality standards. Champion innovation by researching and implementing the latest advancements in robotics and AI. Provide strategic technical leadership and mentorship to senior and junior engineers, promoting a culture of excellence and innovation. Part of Moderna Digital Principle Engineering community to drive innovation and best practice. Heres What Youll Need: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in robotics software development. Proficient in C++, Python, Java, or ROS (Robot Operating System). Extensive knowledge of robotic perception, motion planning, and control frameworks. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion in fast-paced environments.
