Here are some qualifications we expect from candidates specializing in electrical engineering:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficient in electrical prototyping, from conceptual designs and breadboard testing to layout, routing, fabrication, and integration.
- Expertise in reliable electrical assembly techniques, including precision SMD reworks and organized cable harnesses.
- Familiarity with wireless communication hardware and protocols.
- Experience with real-time operating systems and relevant communication/control protocols.
- Basic scripting skills for embedded programming and data analysis.
- A willingness to mentor others and expand beyond their technical expertise.
