Summary

This position is located in the Office of Human Capital, Department of the Chief Operations Officer in Washington, DC.



Duties

Duties include:

  • Support the the creation of training manuals, online learning modules, course materials, teaching outlines, job aids, course assessments, and other training resources. Collaborate with subject matter experts as needed.
  • Monitor, collect, and analyze the effectiveness of training programs through system reports, vendor report outs and the creation and dissemination of surveys and other feedback mechanisms.
  • Facilitate New Employee Orientation (NEO), including creating agendas, coordinating with the staffing team and orientation presenters, ensuring presentations are current and supplied to appropriate parties, and coordinate the distribution and completion of post orientation surveys.
  • Serve as primary entry point for all training and development requests. Perform data entry tasks, approvals, and coordination of SF-182s. Monitors completion of mandatory training and tracks training related budget expenditures.
  • Respond to Training Help Desk inquiries and provides process or procedural information and assistance to managers, supervisors, employees, vendors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Uses the AmeriCorps Learning Management System (LMS) for front to end system administration and troubleshooting, including managing user accounts, the LMS mailbox, course content and related sources, and course enrollments. Runs usage and other customized or ad-hoc analytical reports. Troubleshoots routine errors with the user community and routes more complex issues to the appropriate individual for resolution.
  • Assist with drafting content for training and development marketing through monthly eNewsletters, flyers, designated SharePoint site, and agency-wide communications.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements; provide recommendations regarding revisions to programs and/or procedures and offer innovative solutions to problem solving.
  • Perform research, analysis, and reporting functions as appropriate or assigned.
  • Performs other administrative tasks as requested.
