EJCDC stands for Engineers Joint Contract Documents Committee. It is a coalition of stakeholders in the project delivery process who develop and endorse quality contract documents for the Architecture Engineering and Construction and encourage their use through education and promotion.

EJCDC has existed since 1975 to develop and update fair and objective standard documents that represent the latest and best thinking in contractual relations between all parties involved in engineering design and construction projects.

The three organizations that comprise EJCDC are:


• The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC),


• The National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE),


• The American Society of Civil Engineers - Construction Institute (ASCE-CI).

Opportunity

seeks a dynamic and entrepreneurial Executive Director to oversee the growth and evolution of the organization's work. The position reports to the Joint Administrative Group (JAG) of the Sponsoring Organizations. The ED focuses on marketing, outreach, and growth and will communicate and work with a number of vendors providing multiple services for

The Executive Director role requires a multitude of skills and experience in the following areas:


Leadership and Planning


• Implement the organizations strategic plan to ensure that can successfully fulfill its mission into the future


• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with City/County/State agencies, and other organizational and industry stakeholders to promote the use of EJCDC contracts.


• Serve as the principal resource to the JAG and the primary liaison/advocate for the EJCDC committee.


• Function as the spokesperson and the main promoter of the EJCDC contracts.


Marketing and Communications


• Actively engage in marketing and outreach in person, and other traditional and digital methods


• Update EJCDC products on the website


• Create, edit and distribute Annual sales report


• Promote EJCDC products and participate in approved tradeshows and conferences


Daily Operations


• Oversee the administration of the including the active management of its website, contracts and vendors


• Create and maintain systems and processes to ensure the effective management of EJCDC operations


• Manage all communication with the JAG and EJCDC Volunteers and customers


• Maintain an active database of EJCDC Customers


• Apply data analytics to drive revenue growth


• Holds accountability for the fiscal integrity of EJCDC including the submission to the JAG of a proposed annual budget and monthly financial statements, which accurately reflect the sales and financial condition of the organization.


QUALIFICATIONS


• Minimum of 8 years of experience in some combination of the following areas: non-profit management, community and economic development, advocacy, marketing, government/public policy, or small-business development,


• A Bachelor's degree is required, Masters is preferred


• Technical knowledge to maintain organizational website


• Very strong interpersonal and communication skills


• Experience building coalitions.


OTHER INFORMATION


• Job schedule type –flexible


• Location – remote with occasional travel if approved by JAG


• Compensation: $92-$100K / dependent on experience
